MANOID is a music producer, live performer, sound designer and DJ working at the intersection of club music, experimental electronics and audiovisual art.

His music resists clear categorisation. Techno, IDM, ambient, post-club and electronic music in its broadest sense serve as starting points to be deconstructed and reconfigured.

In 2018, he released his debut album “Truth LP” on the German label hafendisko. The album established him on the European electronic music scene, while the music video for “Take Me”, directed by VJ Emiko, won an award at the PL Music Video Awards and was screened at the Berlin Music Video Awards.

​

Since then, his projects have been presented at Tauron Nowa Muzyka, Audioriver, Open’er, Wisłoujście and Boiler Room x Instytut, as well as on international stages — from South Korea to Iceland. In 2019, together with Hashimotowiksa, he created “Afterhuman Afterparty”, an audiovisual performance presented on the main stage of Audioriver. Its broadcast received the Munoludy award for “Best Online Event in Poland”.

His second album, “I_N_T_E_R_V_A_L_S” (2025), is an attempt to capture fleeting moments of stillness — the pause between an ending and a beginning, between the old and the new. A brief interval between heartbeats. The material has been presented at Zachęta, Galeria Labirynt, KAF and the International Film Festival Rotterdam, among others. The album was also recognised by the Munoludy awards, placing second in the categories of “Best Producer of the Year” and “Best DJ/Live Act – Electronic Music”.

In his latest work, MANOID turns his attention more directly towards the relationship between technology, perception and the human being. “sunyata.exe”, created together with Dr. hab. Jakub Wróblewski and Paweł Dyja and premiered at Tauron Nowa Muzyka 2026, explores the possibility of a new form of spirituality emerging — the spirituality of machines — in the context of artificial intelligence and the posthuman transformation of humanity.

Alongside his artistic practice, MANOID develops educational and label activities. He is the founder of Instytut Dźwięku, a school dedicated to electronic music, and co-founder of holyklang, a platform and label focused on eclectic and experimental forms of electronic music.

Regardless of the format — club live act, album, installation, audiovisual project or DJ set — his practice remains centred around a single question: how can sound strike directly at the foundation of consciousness?
